All workshops require full payment at the time of booking. Classes are not refundable, but if cancelled 7 days before the class we transfer your money to another class *. I reserve the right to cancel classes, but in such instances you will receive a full refund.
Unless specified all workshops are for adults only. Tea and coffee is available at all workshops. Materials are always supplied unless specified.

Mixed Media Collage workshop – Saturday 25th June 10:00 – 16:00

Themes include: Owl Collage, houses or fabulous fairies.

Ever wanted to explore your creative urges without feeling over-exposed?
Join us for a fabulous creative workshop creating a mixed media collage page. We will explore colour & collage through a variety of mixed media stamps & collage. Using beautiful vibrant acrylic paints and inks combined with collage and mixed media products we will explore a number of techniques to create colourful backgrounds. we’ll then go on to explore the use of stamps, colouring and collage techniques to complete your very own work of art. Quilting for beginners – commencing Saturday 7th May 10:00 – 16:00, Tuesday 10th May 18:30 – 20:30, Tuesday 17th May 18:30 – 20:30 completing on Saturday 21st May 10:00 – 16:00

This course is for the beginner with no previous experience of quilting or patchwork; and will be covered over 4 sessions as above details.

Experience of using a sewing machine preferred but not essential. Come and learn the traditional crafts of patchwork and quilting.

Our courses are bespoke, with a maximum of 5 – 6 people per session, ensuring you can work at your own pace in a relaxed atmosphere with an experienced quilter on hand to teach you. You will learn how to prepare your fabrics, handle the ‘tools of the quilter’s trade’, make the patches and patterns with the various fabrics using the sewing machines provided and complete your own small quilt to take home and keep.

Students will be expected to do a few hours homework per week to help complete the quilts.
You will be required to bring your own sewing machine
Fabrics required to complete the small quilt are included, as well as refreshments. For home work it is advisable you have a quilting ruler and a rotary cutter.

Craft classes Every Wednesday & Thursday evening 18:30 – 20:30

Join one of our regular paper crafting sessions. Explore a variety of techniques to create cards & tags for all sorts of occasions. Each week you will learn at least one new technique to apply to your paper crafting projects.
Techniques include matting & layering, dry embossing, heat embossing, ink techniques, colouring techniques and many more. The atmosphere is relaxed and friendly and we have great fun exploring a variety of colour and textures.

Quilting workshops – Every 4th Saturday of the month 10:00 – 16:00

‘QUEATIVE QUILTING’ at Craftique – Saturday 24th October 10:00 – 16:00 and subsequently every 4th Saturday of the month at Hessle Town Hall from 10:00 – 16:00. whether you are already quilting or just thinking about it, we aim to support all levels of ability at our highly creative, professional quilting workshops. Bernice with many years of experience will look forward to guiding you through a variety of quilting techniques.
